A MCCORMICK CUP STORY - Act 3

for the third year in a row, I was hired to cover The McCormick Cup final, organized by rugby Ontario. I had the opportunity to cover this event as a sports photographer for the Waterloo County Rugby Club.

THE MCCORMICK CUP 2025 is one of the most anticipated events in Ontario club rugby.

The atmosphere was electric, with fans lining the sidelines, the smell of fresh-cut grass in the air, and a tension that only a championship game can bring.

From the first whistle, it was clear this was going to be a battle. Both teams brought everything they had, and I was lucky enough to be right on the sidelines capturing every hit, sprint, and try. Shooting rugby is always fast-paced and unpredictable — exactly why I love it. You're constantly anticipating the next big moment, the perfect frame, the raw emotion.
